An Evening of Clairvoyance with TV Psychic Tony Stockwell

At its best, Mediumship has the potential to change someone’s life and to instil in them a sense of peace, comfort and purpose.

Psychic Medium Tony Stockwell is not a new kid on the block and during his 20 years working as a medium he has constantly striven to improve his game and push the boundaries of his communication. In that time he has had umpteen television programmes, taught at some of the most respected schools for mediumistic development as well as setting up his own training school for developing mediums.

“It’s one thing for a medium to tell you that they’ve got `someone who’s passed over` coming through, and that `they love and miss you`. It’s something else entirely when they provide you with clinically accurate information about specific times, places and events that they simply couldn’t have gathered by scientifically-accepted means” Mike Hallowell, Journalist

+ Support

This event is an all standing event.

Tickets go on sale 24th April at 9.30am

The Saw Doctors announce a concert in Cheltenham as part of their UK Tour.

This is Celtic folk-rock at its absolute best.

From County Galway in the West of Ireland, The Saw Doctors have a dedicated international following, including many fans in Gloucestershire.

Playing a mix of music from their roots, they are noted for being the true people’s band.

The impressive line-up includes original members Davy Carton and Leo Moran, who are now joined by former Waterboys member Anthony Thistlethwaite, along with Kevin Duffy and Eímhín Craddock.

They take their name from itinerant craftsmen who once travelled from sawmill to sawmill sharpening and repairing saws and hold the record for Ireland`s biggest-selling single of all time, "I Useta Lover".

Mediaeval Baebes   Tuesday 14th December 2010

Mediaeval Baebes’ exquisite storybook opened its pages in 1996, when a group of friends broke into a North London cemetery and sang together, clad in flowing white gowns and crowns of ivy.

Pulling lyrics from medieval texts and setting them to original scores using mediaeval and classical instruments, whilst singing in an impressive array of long forgotten languages, the Baebes offered a unique musical beauty and outstanding talent. Their choice of mediaeval texts were dramatic, obscure and dark in topic and remarked upon the inevitability of death, the pointlessness of material possessions, the horror of unrequited love or the dangers of imbibing too much alcohol. Some themes are timeless!

Twelve years later, these fair maidens have placed three albums into the top of the classical charts and their contribution to the BBC production of The Virgin Queen (composed by Martin Phipps) resulted in a deserved Ivor Novello award 2007 for best television soundtrack.

Mediaeval Baebes have performed before enthusiastic audiences in the UK, United States, Canada and Europe in venues ranging from castles and caves to nightclubs and Renaissance Fayres. They have toured with Jools Holland and played at The Royal Albert Hall, Carnglaze Caverns in Cornwall, Jersey Opera House, Tewkesbury Abbey, supported Michael Flatley in Hyde Park, and performed at the legendary Lilith Fair.

Their most recent album ‘Illumination’ takes a fresher contemporary direction whilst retaining the ethereal beauty of the Baebes’ historical and musical influences. The ‘Baebes are currently working on a theatrical spectacular for 2011 with renowned creative director Micha Bergese (Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds, Shaolin Monks Wheel Of Life).

His clear voice together with his ability to write fine songs make his music essentially English in character while having universal appeal. Jack Russell, the Gloucestershire and ex-England wicket-keeper, is a big fan and often used to lead his team in singing one of Johnny's rousing Gloucestershire songs   7.30pm
