Ian from Stephen Anthony Designs (www.stephenanthonydesign.com) carried out the majority of all our fitted furniture, the kitchens, utility room, bedroom, wardrobes, first floor office and bar and shelving area. Their quality of craftsmanship is simply unparalleled, and I have absolutely no problem in recommending them over much larger and more well known and twice as expensive other kitchen companies. In addition to fitting out all 6 bedrooms, kitchens and office space, they had a devastating fire which burnt down 70% of their workshop during assembly of this project - and not once did they use this as an excuse, delivering all items on time to a very tight timescale.
Mark from TJ Joinery (www.tjjoineryltd.co.uk) went on to build the library and ground floor office units, creating additional storage spaces, concealed shelving, large 1.6m wide glass door, beautiful oak glazed screens and door sets, games room and large 7m long cedar clad sliding entrance gate.
Both companies beautifully demonstrate how the smaller joinery / craftsmanship led companies, are more flexible, have higher standards of quality than the well marketed larger companies found in the national magazines. I would strongly urge people to seek out and find their local joinery companies.
Both Stephen Anthony Design and T J Joinery, were not fazed by any of the ideas that I gave them, willing to break out of their more traditional designs and try something fresh and modern, but at all times ensuring quality is never compromised.
